Domes of the Golden Temple 🔴

wrote and sang:

Oh Lord, won't you buy me

I must make amends

We humans have been praying to the Lord Almighty for more than 5000 years. Wikipedia says that Prayer is an invocation or act that seeks to activate a rapport with an object of worship through deliberate communication. Be it through meditation, singing in praise, chanting, dancing or any other form that makes one feel closest to Him/Her.

Simply put, prayer is to lay ones faith on a form for otherwise it would be too abstract to focus.

Connecting with the higher power might be done in many ways but what makes it most thrilling is the art and architecture that has been created around this simple, humble act. Sculpting, moulding, painting, music, rhythmic movement and creating gorgeous structures that have stood the test of time....what hasn't religion inspired us humans to do.

Presenting an attempt at painting the domes of the Golden Temple at Amritsar... my supplication to God with folded hands.
